On April 20, the Estonian brass band competition 2024 (Eesti Puhkpilliorkestrite Turniir 2024) took place in Tallinn (Estonia).
University of Latvia Wind Band took part in the E group – the highest level of difficulty.
LUPO won the 1st place and the Grand Prix, as well as the Diploma for the best performance of the compulsory piece.

On April 20th Estonian brass band competition will be held in Tallinn. Several wind bands from different countries participate in it, including the University of Latvia Wind Band(LUPO). LUPO will participate in E group (Group E starts performing at 17:40) and will also perform before the award ceremony (at 19:40).

March 17th at 16:00, in the Concert Hall “Great Guild“ Latvian brass band concert “That’s how music breathes!”
The music of Gunārs Ordelovskis, Vilnis Šmīdbergs, Juris Karlsons, Andris Vecumnieks, Mendeļs Bašs, Jānis Ābols, Hermaņnis Eglītis, Andris Balodis, Dāvids Balodis, Aivars Krūmiņš and Raitis Rērihs will be played.
